Morgan Pastore: Empath

Connection to the Anomaly: Morgan is an empath, someone gifted with the ability to feel as others feel. This is often mistaken as a handicap. History is full of empathic people who couldn’t leave their homes because the roar of emotion outside their doors was too loud.

Morgan discovered some degree of control by moderating her own emotional responses to others. In this way empathy is a tool for her, because she knows (or can intuit) what people around her are thinking and feeling. This gift extends to the natural world; she seems to have an affinity for plants and they do unnaturally well under her care.

She has one special plant she named after Jean, her deceased grandmother. We several dozen hours of recordings of Morgan whispering to this plant. We are looking for volunteers to lend a hand with the mind-numbing task of transcribing them all.
