• Most haunting childhood memory: Eating a bug on a dare at summer camp.
• Most haunting teenage memory: Eating a goldfish on a dare at a homecoming party.
• When he perfects the the laser harp Nicolae plans to sculpt his wife out of sound and give it to her as an anniversary gift. Ironically, Piper is very fed up with her husband’s distant, dismissive behavior. Their marriage may not last until their next anniversary.
• Nicolae made a VHS tape in 1990 documenting his attempt at a Galaga high score. Piper found this tape and screened it for his 40^th birthday. Nicolae started to cry when he heard people in the arcade cheering him on.
• Nicolae cut himself on a B-sharp while playing his viola. He’ll show this scar to anyone who asks.
• Nicolae is obsessed with the 16th century occult philosopher John Dee. He sometimes writes codes in Dee’s Enochian alphabet and gives them to Lex and Morgan to decipher.
